stealth and concealment

ohmyword!
today was so much fun!
even though it was raining all day yesterday and still raining this morning; the skies decided to pause and let some sun come through.
which was just perfect timing,
we were asked (well kind of volunteered ourselves) to photograph a friends engagement.
we were honored to be allowed to capture their time together!

we had so much fun; attempting to remain unseen, yet capture their moments together.
we got a little wet from ducking into the wet bushes, having the branches sprinkle us with the raindrops, all the while attempting to keep the cameras dry!
it was really fun!

and she said yes!!

my alarm went off this morning at 515am
the first thing i said was, "no!"
but it was true, regardless if i wanted it to be or not, i had to get out of bed,
and off to work i went.

after work i took off with a friend, to prepare for this weekend
(more about that later)
sometimes when i drive down this hill, its so foggy you can't even see the water...but today was a beauty...clear and warm:)


these shots i captured made me realize the love i have for city we get to live in.
i love the water, the views, the ocean, the coast.
the beauty we often forget to stop and enjoy.

sunsets are my favorite.

the weather this week has been absolutely beautiful!
the sun has been warm, the sky has been clear...and im loving every minute of it!
happy thursday to all!
i am thrilled for a sleep in day tomorrow, with a mile long to do list, hoping i have enough time to accomplish it all.

taking advantage

the weather has been cold this season, like really cold; in contrast to the mildly chilly weather we experience during the winter.
i know its nothing like the east coast, but we don't live on the east coast, so when its in the 30's here, i say, its too cold for me.

but this past weekend it was beautiful. we stepped out to take advantage of the clear skies, the warm sun and the afternoon off together to enjoy the beach!
the change up in the weather was much appreciated and warmly welcomed!

we've been talking about where we want to live when we grow up, in the next five to ten years. currently we are still undecided as to where we will end up and/or move to. we have time, so we don't have to decide today....but with evenings like this i wonder why we even think about leaving the coast.
(if we were to move, i'd definitely miss this)




we walked along the cliffs and then made our way down to the water and kept walking!
we came upon this, but still unsure as to what it is/was.

its little blurry, as i am almost falling over laughing, as dave was a bit caught off guard as the tide came in and encircled the rock he was standing on.
