summer break

someone is on summer break!
when you work for two different middle schools, and they take a little hiatus for the summer....this is what you get...

during this break,
we will relax
we will move
we will take a trip to chico
we will take a vacation
and im sure more there is more....but all good things!

my weekend in boise, id

shannon was the hostess with the mostess....truly took care of us!
when we landed...we went out to coffee; accompanied with the LARGEST pasties i have ever seen.
oh my word.
the coffee cake almost didn't fit into the to-go box.
sarah choose their famous pumpkin chai muffin, it was HUGE!


from coffee we went to the park to pick up all our race information
(my favorite...the potato pins!)


shannon took us around downtown boise, we shopped around, walked around and were able to see this huge mural which she worked on for a good portion of her time in boise.
she designed part of the tree (free handed the hearts!) miss talented, she is!

idaho street...in boise, idaho...love it!

and then the race....
i had a goal, of 2 hours 15 minutes....and missed it by 8 minutes...
so i am going to try again hopefully in june or july.
regardless of the time, i am super proud of my accomplishment, i trained and i finished and i wasn't hurt, sore or sick after (so ALL good things)

this weekend was all family, all graduation, all celebration weekend!

i know the bar is still out there, waiting for you to dominate it this summer; but until then i hope you enjoy freedom from school; and find time to soak it all in amidst all the bar prep you are doing!

another weekend has sprung upon us!
myohmy time just flies by.
most likely cause we are so busy..but hey, thats how we roll these days, and have been rolling for years...so we will continue:)

this weekend we are celebrating jill's law school graduation.
all the family rolls into the bay area today!!!
so exciting!

whats been really great all week, is that jill has been in my store every morning with a few of her classmates. as they all elected to take a barbri class before taking the bar...smarties...
the class happens to be just a few blocks from my store!
i've been spoiled.
jill has brought me lunch, twice!
and she made and brought my team cookies yesterday!
i'll be sad when her barbri class is over, because then she'll be working her real big time job and won't have to be in the city to get caffeinated to study any more!
(but truly...im pretty proud of her!)

i am back from boise, and feeling well!!!

we all finished and finished well!
we all had a great time, and the weather participated just perfectly...

race day was beautiful, started off chilly, ended really sunny.

today...i am off to boise, idaho.
for a little half marathon with shannon and sarah!

he is the fan

yup, we go to the giants games.
out of the two of us, he is the true fan.
i go to the games
to watch the people
to run into friends
to get into the city together
....but my favorite part...
he takes me out to dinner either before, or after;
or if its freezing cold (like last week) we left during the 7th and watched the remainder of the game from a rather amazing little unique restaurant on 4th and brannon.
i do enjoy our baseball evenings together; but when it comes down to it, he is the fan
im just along for the good times!

she is almost ready to walk, and when that happens...ohmy...she'll be all over the place!

i spent the past weekend with all these ladies

we are the 8 bridesmaids...celebrating this bride


our weekend equally busy and slowly paced, i think a perfect balance of both;
beautifully sunny with lots of laughter, and great times together.
mission accomplished: we all now know each other and come that wedding day in july we will stand side by side, we will be on that dance floor, we will be in loads of pictures together....ultimately celebrating the marriage between annie and chris!
we are all now friends, and i think that makes annie happy.
