presidio10

sarah and i ran in the presidio10 today.
it was either 10miles or 10k, we took the challenge and ran 10 miles.
the race, i am convinced, was completely uphill; the entire way.
i once stated, "for every uphill there has to be a downhill..."
sarah replied, "not in san francisco..."
and she was right!
it was challenging for sure, the views were spectacular and the bridge was a bit windy, but so worth it!
i might need to start running with my camera, such a beautiful course!


(only 4 weeks till our half marathon in boise!)


we are all grown up now, we bought a new bed and mattress!
wow, shopping for such things, in my opinion, falls into the same category as shopping for a new car....not the most fun experience, and there are many other things i can think of i'd rather be doing.
luckily we only have to buy new mattresses every 10 years.
our new "soft as a cloud, comfy, we-hope-to-sleep-well, new bed..." will be arriving tomorrow when i get home from work.
i do hope the new thing fits into our room, through the hall square, it'll be a tight turn into the bedroom.
im thinking of videotaping the professionals as they get the new mattress into our new room; as the husband and i will be responsible for getting it out of our room if and when we move!
